This romantic novel, rather unconventional in its composition and style, was inspired by some sensational archaeological discoveries, made recently in Bulgaria. Despite the use of certain fantasy elements like travelling in time, this is a historical book,throwing light on long forgotten events that took place in ancient Thrace. The protagonist, a young woman from the 21st century falls in love with a country and its history and leads us on a voyage of discovery. She finds herself in the heart of a fabulous kingdom, in a land rich in gold and silver, so much so that the present day archaeologists have great difficulties in protecting the artefacts they find from the grubby hands of the many treasure-hunters.
