The Loire Valley is an enchanted place, where we might suddenly find ourselves back in the time of the Renaissance, in the realm of the Valois Kings who dwelt along the shores of the Loire. Those rich Princes built fabulous castles here, filled them with precious treasures of art, entertained their visitors, went hunting and last, but not least, conducted the affairs of state.

The white cliffs of ...Treport and the port!

COAST - Le Touquet, France

Number 1 has to be Le Touquet-Paris-Plage, because I've just been there. A famous seaside resort, situated in Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Beautiful beach, dunes, pine woods and...northern climate! But you can't have it all, I guess!
