The Loire Valley is an enchanted place, where we might suddenly find ourselves back in the time of the Renaissance, in the realm of the Valois Kings who dwelt along the shores of the Loire. Those rich Princes built fabulous castles here, filled them with precious treasures of art, entertained their visitors, went hunting and last, but not least, conducted the affairs of state.
