Château de Fontainebleau seen from the Carp Lake
This magnificent palace has been lived in continuously
for 7 centuries - since the Capetians until the time of Napoleon III. With 1500
rooms and about 130 acres of parkland, it’s one of the largest of the French
Royal châteaux.
